Carts and walking
- Golf carts
- Cart path only on par 3s and the 90-degree rule on par 4s and 5s. Keep carts 30 yards from greens; no more than 2 carts per group and 2 players per cart. Source

- Driving range
- A large driving range with a short game area and several putting greens. Open 7 AM to dusk Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; on Wednesdays and Sundays it closes about 4 hours before sunset (currently noon). Hours change with the season, so call the shop. Source
- Range balls
- 100 balls $12, 60 for $8, 30 for $5. Range passes: 10 large buckets for $80 or 15 small for $60. Source

- A short game area and multiple putting greens. Source

- Rental clubs
- Srixon/Cleveland sets (men's right and left, women's right): $75 a day, $50 at twilight, balls not included. Call ahead; they're limited. A credit card or license is held during the rental. Source

- The Grille Room in the clubhouse, open to the public: breakfast 6:30 to 11 AM and lunch 11 AM to 2 PM every day (posted summer hours), plus a full bar. There's also the Redd Room. Source

- Private fittings, monthly demo days and TrackMan analysis, led by Scott Smith, PGA (PING specialist); Callaway and other brands too. The PING fitting fee goes toward new clubs. Source

- Private and group lessons, clinics and lesson packages with PGA and seasonal instructors (Joe Goodman, Troy Vitek, Scott Smith). Use the lesson inquiry form. Source

- On the course at holes 3, 6, 9, 12 and 17, each with a drinking fountain. Source
Course rules
- Dress code
- Collared, crew-neck or mock-neck golf shirts. No denim of any kind, tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, halter tops, gym shorts or metal spikes. Applies on the range too. Source
- Outside food and drink
- No outside alcohol (Nevada law). They'll give you a cooler with ice for drinks bought on the course. Source
Good to know
- Resident rates for Clark County, NV and Washington County, UT, booked up to 30 days ahead (others 60 days). Bring proof of residency to the shop once; after that the online system shows resident rates. Until then call 702-346-7820 for resident rates. Source
- Cancel at least 24 hours ahead or you pay full green fees. Singles and twosomes may be paired up. Source
- No fivesomes, ever. Source
- Palmer closed for overseed Sep 14 to Oct 6, 2026 and reopened Oct 7; cart path only for 3-7 days after reopening, no exceptions. Source
- Environmentally sensitive areas (red stakes with green tips) are off limits, including to look for balls: take a drop. Local rules are on the scorecard. Source
