How to play it

- Hole 1 · par 4
- Slight dogleg left with more room right off the tee than it looks. The green is slightly raised.
- Hole 2 · par 4
- A short dogleg left that long hitters can reach downwind. Most players should lay up to a full-shot distance.
- Hole 3 · par 5
- A long, straight drive sets up a chance to go for it in two. Don't go long: a deep pot bunker sits behind the green.
- Hole 4 · par 3
- A long par 3 to a raised green with bunkers left, a slope right and waste area behind.
- Hole 6 · par 5
- Risk and reward: play safe to the right for a short approach, or take on the desert with a long drive to reach in two.
- Hole 7 · par 4
- Long and uphill. Stay out of the fairway bunkers and take one more club into the green.
- Hole 8 · par 3
- Downhill par 3. Aim left and let the slope feed it to the middle; the waste bunker right is 40 feet below the green.
- Hole 12 · par 3
- A long par 3 over water with a bail-out area left and a bunker across the front.
- Hole 14 · par 4
- Sharp dogleg right. Cut the corner over the waste area to shorten it; the two-tier green has six bunkers.
- Hole 15 · par 3
- The island green. Once you're on, the three-tier green is the next test.
- Hole 17 · par 4
- Decide off the tee: a long drive to the right clears the arroyo, or lay up and face a long carry over the second arroyo.
- Hole 18 · par 4
- Keep the drive out of the water on the right. Downhill second shot; the safe miss is short left so it feeds on.
