- The course straddles the Nevada-Arizona line. The front nine is flat with open fairways and lots of water; the back nine climbs into the hills with elevated tees and greens. Source

- Hole 1 · par 5
- A slightly downhill par 5. Keep the drive away from the big palm on the right; the third must carry deep bunkers around a large green.
- Hole 2 · par 4
- A dogleg left with a pond all down the left, palms and bunkers on the right, and an elevated green ringed by bunkers.
- Hole 4 · par 5
- The number-one handicap hole: a dogleg right with water on the right you can't see from the tee and more water beyond blind second shots. Lay up and hit a short wedge in.
- Hole 7 · par 3
- A large two-tier green with water in front and behind. Bail out left.
- Hole 10 · par 5
- The back nine feels like a different course: a sweeping downhill par 5 to a green surrounded by palms and bunkers.
- Hole 11 · par 3
- A downhill par 3 that is all carry over desert.
- Hole 12 · par 4
- Plays steeply uphill, one or two clubs longer, to a long, narrow elevated green.
- Hole 14 · par 3
- A par 3 over a ravine and desert. The small bail-out area leaves an uphill chip.
- Hole 15 · par 5
- The signature hole: a huge drop from tee to fairway (the site says 114 to 115 feet). A canal guards the right and desert the left, so find the fairway.
- Hole 18 · par 4
- A long par 4 that runs uphill all the way. Take one or two extra clubs to clear the bunkers by the big green.
